About this treatment
A device-assisted facial that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in a single sitting, with no downtime afterwards.
HydraFacial uses a vacuum-and-serum handpiece to lift away dead skin cells and the contents of congested pores while delivering hydrating serum at the same time. Because the exfoliation is wet rather than abrasive, it suits skin that does not tolerate scrubs or stronger peels well.
Who this is for
Skin that looks dull, feels rough, or has visible congestion around the nose and chin. It is a common first treatment because it is gentle, and it is often used before an event since there is no peeling or redness to plan around. We offer it for the face and, as a separate session, for the back.
What happens in the session
The steps are adjusted to your skin rather than run identically for everyone: cleansing and a light acid loosening of dead cells, gentle vacuum extraction where pores are congested, then a hydrating serum. Sensitive skin gets a shorter acid step, or none. You may feel suction and coolness; it should not be painful, and anything uncomfortable should be said at the time so we can adjust it.
Afterwards
Skin is usually hydrated and slightly pink for an hour or so, and you can return to normal activity and makeup the same day. Freshly exfoliated skin is more sun-sensitive, so sunscreen the following days matters more than usual. Results build with a course rather than a single visit — we will tell you honestly whether one session is enough for what you want.
